FAQs
What does a T-JTA Certified Instructor do? Certified Instructors teach new practitioners how to use the T-JTA and guide them through the full certification process. This includes preparing participants, hosting trainings, managing Training Kits, and coordinating trainee exam schedules with PPI.
How do I start the application process? You will complete the official Instructor Application Form and pay a one time application fee of twenty five dollars. This begins the review process for approval.
What happens after I submit my application? Once your application is reviewed and approved, you will receive the Instructor Agreement. This agreement outlines the expectations and responsibilities of Certified Instructors and must be completed before you move forward.
Is there an exam to become a Certified Instructor? Yes. After your agreement is completed, you will take the T-JTA Instructor Certification Exam. You will receive access to an on-demand replay of our official training webinar help you study. You will have multiple attempts to receive a passing score.
What support materials do Instructors receive? You will receive the official PowerPoint and ongoing support from PPI for questions about the process. Instructors have flexibility to add their own teaching style and amendments to the material once approved.
What happens if a trainee does not pass the exam? A certificate will not be issued and certification will not be granted. However, the trainee will still remain authorized to use the T-JTA. They may continue studying and take the exam again in six months. Certification offers a higher status level with added benefits, but basic authorization is fully sufficient for administering the T-JTA in practice.
Will I receive help promoting my trainings? Yes. PPI can list your trainings and provide guidance on best practices. You are also encouraged to promote your events locally or within your professional community.
